We ain't even officially finishing earlier on the Saturday neither in our office. We're done now ten minutes later compared to the old finish time So not really got many benefits, but oh we get to work later on a Wednesday though during school traffic

Similar in ours we are finishing an hour later on saturdays

But you have more Saturdays off in a year don’t you? That was what was touted. Earlier finish only applies if you voted for that duty pattern.

Yeah iirc one of the 9 day fortnight options was a 6 hour Saturday obv longer weekdays, can't find the details now but I wonder if there was more people in on Saturday as we're up to time now on a 7.40 Saturday so 6 hours wouldn't work

It’s incredible how you twist it round and let RM entirely off the hook for being run by a bunch of incompetents who begin dismantling agreements the second the ink is dry.

Yep, Saturday is catch up day, no chance of non drivers staying inside prepping d2ds, they are being sent out to deliver stuff that hasn't gone out.

Absolutely. The CWJ is not an independent trade union free from industry interference.

The CWU fails to meet the definition of an independent trade union as defined by the TUC. What the bosses do isn't our concern. How the CWU reacts is. Collectivism stops agreements being broken.
