If by immediate, you mean over the next 3 years, after agreeing to radical changes, sure. Another one who doesn’t bother to read proposals.
It is 8% over 2 years. You have already had 2% last year.
Ok, it is still a ‘3 year deal’. One year of it we are already into, considering how long this s**t-show has been going on for. Hardly an overnight 10% raise.
The point i'm making is that there has always been money in the pot that RM are willing to give us. They were willing to do this nearly a year ago and they are still willing to do this now.

So we are not going t*ts up if we don't accept a "s**t-show" of a deal or radical changes....
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

I’m gunna try not to be too negative until I read the full details next week but my hopes are not too high that this
agreement will be any good. If it’s still later starts and the pitiful 10% over 3 years garbage then they won’t be getting
My support in the vote for it.
Time will tell.
The carrot of a lump sum will get it over the line and 95% of the workforce won’t read the agreement
Sadly you are correct. Job searching time for me and thousands of others if later starts gets accepted.
Been looking for a job for a while now vast majority is shift work and weekend work 4.30 finish might not sound to bad compared to half 10 backshift or constant nights or even 10 hour dayshift half 6 finish

Thank goodness for that :nana .
Why? You have no idea what is in the negotiator's agreement.

I doubt there's much to celebrate, but again I don't know.

We have to see it.
I don't see the point of throwing good money after bad, we gave it a good go and continuing would result in a Pyrrhic victory.
A totally bizarre reply.
You are already signing up for something you have no idea what it is.
Not really how much more money were you willing to lose?another £1500?
Then what kind of deal would you be looking at to get your 3k back?
AHH , you work in processing.

Nuff said

Be interesting what the share price does on opening of markets.

Certain persons may have taken the opportunity Friday to buy a load?

And the point I’M making is that we are going to have to agree to massive compromises to get it. Royal Mail are insisting on these T&C changes to fund the pay rise, which is why it is happening over a 3 year period.

Have voted 'NO' to all the union agreements in last 8 years - will need to see details, but expect to be a no from me. Union capitulates a as per normal.

What a waste of time and money.

RM - we are in financial difficulty.

Us - We are in a worse position !

CWU - side with RM

Me - Looking elsewhere for employers who aren't complete Cnts

Looked for another job, the pay is no better & the hours are worse. If your not happy take the lump sum & go get a better job but when you say I have to pick my kids up at 3oclock I think the standard response would be "not my problem"
