I've been sent a small parcel from a friend in the Ukraine, and luckily it was in the hands of UKRPoshta by 23rd Feb and on its way to the UK literally a few hours before the Russian invasion began. I receive parcels from the sender on a regular basis but obviously as a result of the invasion, the package has had to take the slow route over land instead of the usual airmail (which impressively usually only takes just over a week). After almost a month with no tracking, I had sadly written the package off.
On the 17th of March however, the UKRPoshta tracking suddenly updated to indicate that the package had in fact miraculously reached the UK. By the 18th, it had apparently cleared customs and was released to RM. This is where UKRPoshta's ability to track it ends.
Usually from that point it might take up to a week for RM to make final delivery, but now it's almost a fortnight and there's still no sign of it (and seemingly no way to track it once it arrives in the UK).
Please, tell me this parcel didn't make a long journey all the way out of a foreign war zone only to disappear somewhere between Heathrow and watford.
