Hi guys and gals,
I have an ebay item on its way from the uk to ireland.
I know royal mail and anpost are very busy atm.
My parcel was sent via international tracked and signed. But when i check the tracking number, all it says is " we've got it" and the only tracking available is
"Accepted at Post Office"
Its been like that for about a week now.
Is there a chance its still on its way but just hasnt been zapped with a scanner or is it still literally sitting in that post office still?
Any ideas? Thanks peeps. Stay safe

Re: Rm parcel stuck in post office?
There a lot of things that could have gone wrong, for instance:
The barcode label fell off (actually quite common);
The Post Office branch closed down due to Covid shortly after sending, and before the RM collection;
Fault with the tracking system;
Delays processing post into the mail centre;
Or, as you say, someone forgot about it. Are you the sender or the receiver?

As you are the buyer, it isn't your job to chase Royal Mail. That is the seller's job. If it doesn't arrive as contracted, you need to make a claim from the seller.
