Customs probably.

ILC is the International Logistics Centre so it will have a HM customs function there.

I always get confused ! I though it would have passed through customs prior to them showing it tracked in the UK?

The way I understand it is if it stays at the HWDC then its not scanned, but if it goes to the overflow or ILC then to make sure they know whats been sent out they scan them.

Its only a guess though, if we have any HWDC or ILC members who want to confirm but not post, then they can PM me at any time.

I have this status - Your item has left our International Logistics Centre and is on its way to you. Does this mean it's passed customs or still there as the tracking update hasn't changed since.

Without more information its difficult to say with any certainty but in most cases yes, it looks like its been selected and delayed by customs.
