I have recently received my parcel back after of what i Thought Argos store had it.
There is yelow sticker on it with amount to pay £3.09
there is also antother sticker with ref no 5677-SU
I am extremely unhappy of fact that for some reason someone decided that my parcel is not fully paid for.
I am sending rather large number of parcels and I do know exact dimenstions and weight i can post under Royal mail small parcel second class service
I am actually ordering boxes just to be fit for this service! parcel weight is 1.6kg I have stated on parcel 1.8kg witch is still in 2kg bracket ...
As the result of someone error i have negative feedback on my ebay account.
what should i do in such a situation how do i proceed with my case ?
I did not opened box as yet so i am more than happy to have it checked by PROFESIONAL body again.
kind regards

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Royal Mail Revenue Protection Service
You need to complain to Royal Mail in the first instance and, if you are not satisfied, launch an appeal / take it to the ombudsman after the appropriate time. As an alternative, this may be a contravention of the weights and measures act, so you could complain to your local council's trading standards department.PiotrNowax wrote:Any help please ? Why would you think Argos had your parcel? How and where did you post it? How was it paid for? What date was it posted on? I work in Rp so may be able to figure out why you've been surcharged. It's a strange amount £3.09. Small packets are £2.80 +£1 fee for up to 2kg. Your postage must have been short?

I guess the recipient had chosen to collect the eBay item from their local Argos storecazspence wrote:Why would you think Argos had your parcel? How and where did you post it? How was it paid for? Re: Royal Mail Revenue Protection Service
you have been charged as a medium parcel rather than small, that is the difference of £2.09 plus £1 handling fee that brings it upto £3.09, One of the following dimensions must have been exceeded 61cm length x 46cm width x 46cm height, when picking things like this up at the delivery office ask them to check it they can tell you what dimension or weight was exceeded. I have found that revenue protection are very accurate and rarely charge items incorrectlyPiotrNowax wrote:I have recently received my parcel back after of what i Thought Argos store had it.
