Gls has recently cracked down on prohibited items like mobile phones with batteries and this has been causing problems for customers recently just checking it wasn't something like that, other than that it's probably been delayed due to the volume of mail at this time of year

GLS have been refusing to transport some parcels so ZX135 was just checking to see if yours could have been one of them. As cufflinks don't have batteries yours won't be caught up in that.

As you say on the GLS site its showing as still inbound. At this time of year thats not unusual as the number of parcels increase massively over the pre=christmas period.

Just checked the last posting date for Greece and unfortunately it was 8 Dec 2014 as you posted it on 6 Dec 2014 it should get their before Christmas, but I think it will be only a few days before

You'll need to get on to whichever service you purchased it from then. Either the official RM one or Parcelforce - I think both do that one, but they are different businesses now. Check your receipt and paperwork for a contact number and good luck.

You were charged for speeding it up compared to the normal airmail, but the normal airmail is much slower than normal at this time of year due to the increased volumes of mail. A service with a guaranteed delivery date would have cost a lot more.

One of Royal Mail's competitors had to stop accepting mail yesterday due to the amount of mail in their system. That's how bad it gets at this time of year.

Not officially no. We are not an official site and we warn customers of that on every page even this one that you are reading now.

For specific details you'll need to contact Royal Mail, or the courier used direct.

Royal Mail can be contacted via twitter @RoyalMail and GLS have a contact from at https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/contact-form" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
