Something to consider
Hi,
I really don't think going on strike is the answer Post people because:-
1) I get my daily post in the afternoon so the service is already dreadful and can only get better.
2) 90% of my mail is junk mail
3) 5 % of my mail are bills/info that also comes into my email account
4) 5% of my mail are parcels that Yodel/DHL/UPS/FED EX?TNT could bring me if you lot can't.
As the topic suggests, this is something I would like you to consider.

But if it was my job on the line I would get all my men together and show them how brilliant we can be, not a 'hello, this is us at our very worst'

Re: Something to consider
Crazy logic - they are already working us too hard (read the posts around the forum) and you want us to up the rate to show how good we are. Mind you I don't expect you to research a subject you feel qualified to comment on when you couldn't even chose the correct rank for your membership here. The real eagle wrote:But if it was my job on the line I would get all my men together and show them how brilliant we can be, not a 'hello, this is us at our very worst'
You posted as a Blue Shirt but are obviously a customer, so I changed your rank, perhaps you could confirm that is correct.
Enjoy reading the rest of the board, it may open your mind.

Thank you for changing my rank but my roots are always blue shirt in a d739 kind of way.
I just think you are going about this in a predictable and silly way.

Blame the politicians for changing the rules, they haven't given us much of a choice have they. Thats why is predictable.

It's been a few years!!
Love the way I have been taken as press/management instead of just an impartial that reckons you may all just be walking blindly into a trap.

Royal Mail's quality is the highest of all it's peers. The real eagle wrote:But if it was my job on the line I would get all my men together and show them how brilliant we can be, not a 'hello, this is us at our very worst'
We lead all surveys in customer satisfaction.
We have a turnover of £9 billion and produced profits of over £400 million.
We are already brilliant but our employer wants to reward that brilliance by reducing our terms and conditions.
How would you feel?
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
