URGENT HELP REQUIRED

I have sent something abroad worth 250 and have insured it for that amount, i am using special delivery.
I need to cancel this item arriving to the destination as i am about to be scammed by the person buying my item i've just found out he is a proven scammer.
What can i do as i posted it yesterday and time is quickly running out

If its not been delivered then you have a chance. The SD tracking number will reveal if the scammer has it or not.

Have you tried asking Royal Mail, by phoning 08457 740740 ( Mon to Fri, 8am to 6pm ) or using the 'Contact Us' section of the royalmail.com website ?
If that doesn't work or you don't get the answer you would like, you could try emailing the postal administration of the country to which it has been posted.

Special Delivery is only used within the UK,so as long as you have put a return address on it you should get it back very soon.

Im a little confused here,as i said Special Delivery is only used within the UK,he said he sent it Special Delivery,i have re-delivered these backto customers in the past who have used this service on items going abroad only to have them sent back as this service is no good outside the UK.There is a service for insuring items going abroad but i dont know what it is Im thinking is that what they have used and got it mixed up with Special Delivery

I used international signed for, i've checked where the item is and its already been passed overseas.
There's no returned address on the package because i didn't want someone in nigeria having my adress.. Turns out the e-mails from paypal were faked so i wont get the money and i have been scammed.
I've got my brother trying to contact royal mail explain the situation and the e-mails from paypal saying i have been scammed.
I've got the package insured for 250 is there anyway i can claim on it using the e-mails from paypal proving i've been scammed or does it only work for the mail not arriving?

I'm not sure they will be able to help me tbh i don't think there is anything i can do because the item is now out of the country.

I've probably heard of more scams from Nigeria than every other country put together but sadly not everyone knows of Nigeria's notoriety for this. Best just to have nothing to do with that country unless it's with a relative or genuine friend you know there.

Hi don't know if this will help, but you could contact them what have you to lose, they may send back the item, or catch the scammers.

Thanks its a long shot but i can give it a try. I was unaware of Nigeria scams but i am wise to it now i've learnt so much from this.
I hope they get caught
