One year of it we are already into, considering how long this s**t-show has been going on for. Hardly an overnight 10% raise.clashcityrocker wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 19:05It is 8% over 2 years. So we are not going t*ts up if we don't accept a "s**t-show" of a deal or radical changes....
We don't have to agree to any massive compromises at all!!
They can shove their paltry little pay rise strung over 3 years up their own ar$e$

But will they need to.. no doubt it will be voted in people have had enough. unless you hav'nt realised food prices up sky/virgin up mobiles up gas/ electric up most people have lost enough plus leave taken off us.. if you think more strikes are the way forward good luck. unless you live up your parents stairs an can afford all this (not you personally) but ive had enough i will be voting yes. can't take much more.postslippete wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 21:33LouBarlow wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 20:17And the point I’M making is that we are going to have to agree to massive compromises to get it. You are quite correct, it will be Delivery Staff that make or break this deal.aiden01 wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 21:21Just rem if its voted in it will be voted in by del staff as they outnumber processing by at least 3-1 so enuf crap about where people work ffs.enskied wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 19:29AHH , you work in processing.milly wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 19:12Not really how much more money were you willing to lose?another £1500?

I think most people have had enough of this saga.
If the deal is approved I may have to remind our more Millitant colleagues that it was you lot that voted for it

Re: Negotiators agreement reached
Bottom line is if the union didnt think it was good enough to vote on they would have pulled out announced more strikes so in my opinion thats what we pay our subs for trust in them if they say strike then strike if say vote yes then vote yes etc if not happy leave union

Get a taste of what it's like on delivery. We don't get the chance to amble around your rural location . The onus is on us.

I would be tempted to transfer into processing where you still get a nice shift allowance for working nights and the working hours still suit.
Oh wait a minute....they plan on closing a load of mail/distribution centres to make way for these parcels-hubs......

How can you vote no in the last 8 years, when the last time we went on strike was around 12 years ago?

Funnily enough I seen your future in Deliveries tonight, an Amazon driver going back to his depot at 7pm on a Saturday night.postslippete wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 22:12

Re: Negotiators agreement reached
Not necessarily. It’s the negotiators job to go in there and get the best deal they think is possible out of the company. Let’s see what the executive say and then ultimately we will get our say.Grads75 wrote: ↑15 Apr 2023, 22:07Bottom line is if the union didnt think it was good enough to vote on they would have pulled out announced more strikes so in my opinion thats what we pay our subs for trust in them if they say strike then strike if say vote yes then vote yes etc if not happy leave union

The likelihood of me doing that will be as likely as Dave Ward will be to propose to Andy Furey live on air.
