This will be voted through if the union recommends a Yes vote. The headlines will have £ signs attached and any bad news will be buried in the detail.
The union will say things like 'they wanted you to have to work Sundays, but now it's volunteers (and newbies) only. They wanted to take your allowances off of you, now can keep them (existing staff only), they wanted later starts and we got that down to a max 30mins (newbies will be given different hours or course)'.
It wouldn't surprise me if they also tacked news of the new pension being approved onto the newsletter as well.

We don't know....

Have to wait ( yet again) to see what is on offer.

I agree with you that a lot of people will just agree if that is what the executive tell them to.
Never, never sign anything without understanding what you are doing.

Judge Judy... Made the judge Judy bit up, but she'd say it " Stupid"

You didn't honestly think you were going to get a deal which would have paid your lost money from striking did you? Bit silly if so as that was never going to happen.

That was the £1,500 offer.
Lots will think it's lost money back.

It's a pay cut.

Any whispers whether a lump sum or back dated? Or later starts
Have your later starts not already been implemented? Ours have by five minutes!

If your not happy take the lump sum & go get a better job
I think there will be a stampede for the exit the week after any lump sum goes into peoples banks.

If its voted down, what happens?
Does the company fold with the loss of 140,000 jobs?

Well, it's not going to fold overnight as the company were immediately planning on giving us all a 10% pay increase.
Were did you read that??

Have voted 'NO' to all the union agreements in last 8 years - will need to see details, but expect to be a no from me. Union capitulates a as per normal.

What a waste of time and money.

RM - we are in financial difficulty.

Us - We are in a worse position !

CWU - side with RM

Me - Looking elsewhere for employers who aren't complete Cnts
Surprised you still working for royal mail :Very Happy

Thank goodness for that :nana .
Why? You have no idea what is in the negotiator's agreement.

I doubt there's much to celebrate, but again I don't know.

We have to see it.
I don't see the point of throwing good money after bad, we gave it a good go and continuing would result in a Pyrrhic victory.
A totally bizarre reply.
You are already signing up for something you have no idea what it is.
Not really how much more money were you willing to lose?another £1500?
Then what kind of deal would you be looking at to get your 3k back?
AHH , you work in processing.

Nuff said
Just rem if its voted in it will be voted in by del staff as they outnumber processing by at least 3-1 so enuf crap about where people work ffs.
