You know they’ll be some idiots in every office that would take the offer

It's already getting there and it's the decisions from high up that are crippling it. Take the latest overtime ban for example. Customers pay good money for a service and they expect to get what they pay for.
That's not happening a lot of the time though and the overtime ban will only make the service worse. Never mind 1st and 2nd class letters sometimes being up to a week late. More and more parcels will fail and customers will look elsewhere. They already are.
Oh, but its our fault. Good god get a grip up top will you.

The problem is, the way I see it going... to get out of this dispute, the Union will have to cave in to a lot of the change agenda (if not all), and then they'll have to sell that to the members, not an easy task. However, what usually happens then, is most people start talking about "it's the best we're gonna get", and totally change their tune.
The company have already told us their plan, the more we strike, the more of us get made redundant, and the more "new entrants" they hire on worse, T&Cs.
It's Bullshit for sure, but there's not an easy out from this dispute.

He is taking the piss...he knows and we know it
He knows full well this offer is pathetic and will never be accepted - he is playing the game because he is an asshole pure and simple
Massive week for the CWU
Sustained days all out strike action during November (assuming rolling strikes are a dead duck)
Week long all out strike during busiest period right up to and including Christmas Eve + several other December dates at least

The next strikes are on 12th and 14th of November, after that, there are only 5 full weeks until Christmas and if there's no deal by then, this dispute is over.
There's no point in continuing into the New Year, none whatsoever.

So Saturday 12th November and Monday 14th November are definitely still going ahead?
What about Wednesday 16th November?

They need to replace that lump sump with a % onto next years and back date the 3.5% to april this year to even make the deal taste a little sweeter, As right now that pay deal is nothing but very sour and bitter.

All planned step-by-step, as a levelling down agenda. Mentioning owner drivers, cutting t&c’s, all because of…
strikes…?
When ironically, we were striking *because* he mentioned bringing these things through IA. (And Pay).
It’s been a levelling down agenda, cost-cutting exercise, to attempt to maximise profits for shareholders since day one. Everything else is collateral to his actual goal.
