Tracking international registered mail sent to UK

I sent a registered mail from Sweden last Friday 2nd Aug, to London, UK. I can track it via the Swedish mail system posten.se and it said that my mail has been dispatched to the UK on Saturday 3rd Aug, but heard nothing from then. They told me I can track my mail all the way until delivery.

I suppose it has already arrived UK. However, I cannot track anything about my mail via the Royal Mail website, I don't know if they lost my mail, or I can only track it after it has been delivered?

I don't think that items from Sweden are tracked within the UK. @postman or tbt could a sticky be put together at some point to go in the customers forum with things like:

* what countries to items from get tracked within the UK
* About the trackdetails page

Thanks, I tried this page and finally got some updates, they said my item was received in UK, and the track point is 'Heathrow Worldwide DC'.

I think some items from Sweden to UK can be tracked within the UK, such as Registered mail and Express mail. Last month I sent an express mail from Sweden to UK and it was tracked via Royal Mail website when delivered.

I also tried tracking the previous item (delivered last month) using trackdetails webpage, and I saw each step from received in UK until delivery.

Thanks very much for sharing the links. I've checked and it remains unchanged since last night as "RECEIVED IN UK, HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC". I don't know if it means my item is still at Heathrow or even worse it got lost; because I was told my item will be delivered today at the latest. But from your experience the possibility of losing mails is low, the most likely situation is that it is delivered without scanning barcode, am I correct?

Is it possible that my item is stuck at Heathrow due to custom clearance, but it is just a letter containing my passport and two pieces of documents?

As Sweden is in the EU there shouldn't be any customs issues (unless the item contained alcohol, tobacco or some perfumes)
