Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend
A bit connected and further to my earlier post http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... =6&t=52321, we have in the past week had about 7 parcels returned to us with some/all contents destroyed as Dangerous Goods. Having made ourselves very well versed on the new regs since they came in, we can swear categorically that the items that were sent (mascara, face moisturiser and foundation) do not appear on any of RM's Prohibited List. We can only assume an error/misjudgement during the security scanner process.
This is not only frustrating for our customers but also is money we are losing for apparently no good reason. Does anyone know if we have any recourse in obtaining refunds for the carriage costs as well as the cost of any items which we strongly believe have been destroyed in error?
Thanks as every for the help
