Incorrect tracking information?

Post by ash_valley »

Hello!

I would like to ask everyone for advice regarding mail tracking. I bought an item on eBay (sent via Recorded Signed for), checked its status on Thursday 25th and according to the website information RM failed to deliver and returned the package to the local office. My redelivery request was declined (I received a strange email explaining they couldn't redeliver to the post office although I put in my home address). Now the most bizarre thing is that the local delivery office where my item is supposed to be according to the tracking information is in Highbury whereas my home address is in Kilburn. Naturally the Highbury employee told me that I should enquire at the Kilburn office, which I'm planning to do on Monday.

All opinions on this are appreciated :) Thank you!

http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Does it give a reason there as to why the delivery failed?

Just the date of attempted delivery and the current track point (Highbury PDO).
PS. And there was no card left.

Possibly you were given another of the supplier's customer's tracking numbers in error or on purpose.
