To be frank it was loosely on topic till you told someone to "grow up". Not what I would call an adult response to a political discussion. You may not agree with him, but others do and Dave Ward as far as I know does class himself as a socialist, or at least he leans that way. (posted in a personal capacity)

Fair enough, I guess there are some capitalist vs socialist aspects to the current dispute.
These guy's bringing up the great reset & covid conspiracies are taking the piss though. Can't stand when people try to push their beliefs on others. Especially when the topic has nothing to do with that.

Did you ever wonder how and why these things get labelled as ‘conspiracy’? You obviously learnt nothing from covid or brexit and ‘project fear’ .
The wef is an organisation who are literally telling you what their plans are. They have associated members in high government positions in most countries .

I’m a well educated, and id like to think quite intelligent person, so looking at how things are all happening across the world at the same time, especially in countries with this organisations members at the helm, how can your ignore it? Do you really think leaders of countries and for maybe a good example, businesses such as this one! Are that stupid and naive to be running them like this. ?

The issue here is them posting on Facebook, that's why I clicked the thread - because of Facebook.

Can see your point but FB is universal among people, that's why they use it. User a lesser known platform would be inconvenient & get less attention which defeats the purpose of doing it.
Can't expect them to fight FB & Royal mail bosses at the same time.
Also yes it's obvious they will join the picket line, it's what they are discussing that matters

As the OP, the thread literally WAS about Dave and Andy on the picket line AND the statement they gave
which was for all members - particularly those who on other threads who were asking why the union
was so quiet.

I posted it barely half an hour after it had been put on FB so that those of us who use
this message board (which is run on open source software I believe, so unlikely to be in the league of Silicon Valley
villainery) and who are minimal (if at all) users of FB, could see it. The post wasn't about using FB.

I respect your point about CWU using a capitalist, data mining for profit organisation, but what other (more socialist) mass medium would
you suggest CWU use to get information out as quickly as poss to as wide an audience as poss? I'm sure Chris Webb would like to know.
