What’s going on with this 1pm special tracking

without a tracking number to read the full tracking its difficult to say, but my guess is it went to the wrong Delivery office. With the tracking number, we would be able to see any scans after your post as well which would also help identify what went wrong.

I am having similar problems. Not only late, but also two inland SD parcels have been sent to Heathrow in the past 10 days! and are now 'missing'

Something strange is going on here . Heathrow should not be getting Special Deliveries.

Also, Special Deliveries should not go from "Sender Preparing item" to Heathrow with no other scans. It just doesn't make sense they should be scanned at EVERY point on their journey through the system. They should be scanned at the Post Office, Delivery Office, Mail Centre or by a collections driver, whoever first gets them within Royal Mail.

I think you need to talk to the sender and find out how and where they were collected or put into the system. Also, @royalmailhelp on Twitter may help they have admin privileges on the scanning system that we don't have access to here.
