Here is the Royal Mail tracking info.

Tuesday 30 August 2022
20:51
Item has left our International Processing Centre
LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom
20:12
Item Received
LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom
20:12
Item Received
Heathrow International LC
Thursday 25 August 2022
05:04
Item Leaving overseas
Spain
Tuesday 23 August 2022
10:06
Item received at
Spain

The package only contains documents with no value.

I've looked through the site, and can only find items stuck before leaving HWDC, not after.

Am I right in thinking that item has cleared customs?

Thanks!

Answer to my own question.

I spoke to Royal Mail customer services. They were very helpful.

Apparently "left HWDC" means that the item is now going to customs, and has not cleared it yet. They say it currently takes about 7 working days to clear, then it enters the UK postal system.

Could be longer with the strikes etc.
