We are not an official site so we cannot answer specific questions, for that you'll need to go to an official site.

But it looks like there is some issue with customs just from what you posted.

I'm in a similar situation:

Friday 19 August 2022
14:51 Item Received
Heathrow International LC

Thursday 18 August 2022
18:52 Item Received
Heathrow International LC

18:52 Item Received
LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom

18:52 Item at UK customs
LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom

I called Royal Mail on Friday as my parcel has been sitting idle for over a week and they told me it's most likely lost. On the tracking website from the country of origin (Denmark) it says that the item is still is customs though. Not sure what is going on exactly. Either way, I contacted the retailer asking for them to follow up. Let's see how it turns out.

I also contacted the retailer and they think it looks like it has been lost. Seems really shoddy that a tracked parcel gets lost.

As before I don't think its lost, I think its stuck in customs - 11 days in customs is unusual but not unheard of.

Yeah, retailer is now saying it's customs. So frustrating!

Customs choose random batches of mail for extra checks. If your item is in one of them chosen batches then it'll take longer to clear customs

well I had a parcel arrive in the UK on the 9th August and the tracking hasn't been updated ever since....

Not had any notification re charges etc, and Parcelforce would only accept a request to search for it last week. Are the delays there really that bad??

4 weeks seems ridiculously long though - the longest I have had to wait previously is 3 days!!

would you suggest all hope is not yet lost?

It seems you must wait, and wait, and wait some more
According to parcelsapp.com:

Estimated date of arrival at the post office
08 Sep 2022 - 21 Sep 2022, 2 - 15 days remaining

The forecast is not 100% certain, and is based on 73 packages delivered in the last 60 days

SpacePhoenix answered your question in this thread but before you asked it, suggesting either that SP is psychic, or that we are all living in that Two Ronnies sketch...

so having escalated my written complaint to the next level, and having to resupply details of the package, I received a phone call from PF who essentially said that it might turn up but is probably lost....

so in people's experience how likely is it that it "might turn up....."
