He’s saying that prolonged strikes will put the company in such a bad state that going forward they might have to use different contracts but blatantly wants it also to be read as a threat to those already worried that they could get their contract changed if they strike..

He’s also been on to vehemently deny it. He’s not the sharpest tack but I don’t believe him to be THAT stupid.

From the posts I have seen from him in varying places I worry that this might be false. He doesn't seem to backtrack. He seems to accept all comments, only rebuking people when the language gets a bit naughty. I also saw a comment where he said, this dispute will be resolved. He also said in another, be respectful of one another, we have to work together again after the dispute. I just get a feeling someone is trying to stir people up.
