I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Surely annual leave has nothing to do with strike action? Out of interest is there an agreement in place as to the length of time an annual leave request has to be responded to by?
I think it means no new requests that cover the periods of strike action to be fair.
I.e a few days off that include the 8th and 9th sept.
I’m not sure about the phoning in sick one right enough. Whilst morally as someone who is taking industrial action I am not unhappy with that tactic, I’m not sure how well it would stand up to legal challenge if someone were to pursue it.
Surely taking a photo in a public place is not something Royal Mail can stop you doing ?? And if some strike breaker (being polite here ) comes onto my property on a strike day they will be told to F Off

do these clowns think that the day after any i/a anybody would be interested in doing any o/t to mop anything up afterwards ? , do they think we are that f***ing desperate to claim 1 - 2 hours of o/t when losing x amount of days pay , it will be finish time and home and keep it rolling on to the next strike , and f**k it.

there will 100% be many people doing overtime the day after the strikes.

Just like there will be the same gang going in early for free to get ahead. The Royal Mail workforce is a rare breed of stupid.
