Regional manager allowing our local offices to open if 25% of staff dont want to work.
Bet your delighted
50/50 split in my office.
Half n half then
No his office is divided in 2.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Luckily only 2 of my office are up for striking, the rest have said they are going to carry on as normal.
As you can see from the date stamp, there were 5 days between those posts, and my office had an adult disccussion about it in between, as no hard feeling was aparent on either side some people came to the conclussion they couldnt afford to loose money and have decided to report for duty.
And the following day the adults shared this discussion with you?
The more I think about it the more I think they’ll f*ck this up, I can’t remember any plan ever going smoothly really, the manager recently bought ice poles for the freezer and put so many in there the door didn’t close properly and everyone’s milk went off

Hey we’re not modern, we were still on bikes three years ago (no joke)
I love it when a flow chart makes everything come together...
Yes very good DD! That's the problem with this Business all the Managers from Low Level Up are all fixated on their Bloody Laptop Read Outs!
In the real world we deal with actually moving things around and delivering them ..... they just look at the figures and give it, "Yes it's below the Model Week you've got time to lapse"
Personally I would not look forward to delivering an unfamiliar round with shiteloads of parcels when I'd never been in the area before. I find it hard enough to do, often forgetting the odd parcel that I discover later, and I'm the Regular Bloody Postman!
Good Luck assholes I hope you enjoy your day out in "The Real World".
Like all Wage Slaves, he had two crosses to bear: The people he worked for and the people he worked with! (Stephen Vizinczey.)
I think their problem with this plan will be that they need a motivated group of management on the ground at local level to try and pull it off. From conversations with managers they just don’t have that, they lost that dressing room as well even though they won some concessions recently.

How much motivation will managers have if it is peeing down with rain on strike days. One can only hope.
pointless going in a clearing up 2 days mail, staying out, working through breaks after a strike, but some morons will do it.
Most won’t, it’s a great choice of dates, people are gonna be wanting to be done that Saturday and they’ll feel no pressure to not cut off seeing as there’s a really good reason (yes not needed) and nearly everyone else will.
