What “company” are you talking about? If it is stuck at Langley then it is being held at HM Revenue and Customs, who are a law enforcement agency.

An item I sent to Canada had been at Langley for a month now - with no opportunity to speak to anyone or ask a question what do you do?? This is absolutely the worst customer service approach. I can’t think of any other company that is allowed this amount of obfuscation and secrecy - if the parcel is lost or broken fine! Just let me know ffs
Sorry, but we are not an official site so we "can't let you know". We can offer advice and insights and that's about it, to do so we ask if posters could provide us with a tracking number. However, as the previous poster indicates once it has been scanned at Langley it is handed to Customs. Hopefully whatever you sent is not on the Restricted or Prohibited list for Canada as they are very strict.

Sorry, going *to* Canada. This is a thread for inbound items, posting about outbound items can cause confusion.

Canada are really strict on customs and regularly destroy items for minor violations. So it is to your advantage that RM take time to examine borderline items, as it means they may be returned instead of destroyed.

What did you send?

No particular problems with sending ceramics to Canada.

Not sure if they might stop the package if the contents are suspected to be broken. It depends how much they consider broken ceramic to be a risk to other people’s parcels and postie’s hands.

Other than that, it is necessary to write the sender’s name and address on the outside of the parcel (Canada will refuse entry without that) and stick to the tax declaration rules:

I ordered a product off aliexpress on 24th June, delivery was expected July 12th, the tracking says the plane entered the port on July 13th and has only today updated and says “Langley, arrived at gateway”
Does anybody know what this means??
I’ve only ever had Langley HWDC. Can someone tell me whether you think I’ll get my parcel or not?

Thanks

We need more tracking information than that, can you copy and paste it in here please?

I suspect that you have a tracking number with “GB” as the last two characters…

“Langley, arrived at gateway”
That's not a Royal mail tracking status so to help we would need to be able to see the all of tracking details, or the tracking number so we can read the output.

Knowing the tracking number does not divulge any personal information such as final destination etc, only where it has been scanned, and what status it was scanned as.

Hi guys I’m new to the site so please excuse me if I’m not on correct page , I am waiting on presents that have been sent tracked for my son for Xmas , they were ordered on 17/11/22 and the tracking just shows arrived at Langley Hwdc , if I don’t get these Xmas is a bust for my son , can anyone please help me , I’ve tried contacting Royal Mail but due to strike action they can’t really tell me much more, I know it’s not the ladies fault I speak to each time it’s the idiots who won’t pay workers a fair wage and proper conditions for working , everyone suffers due to the fat cats , I totally agree workers need fair pay and fair rights.
If anyone can help me let me know . Items are coming from England to Northern Ireland

Think they've been missorted. HWDC deals with mail entering/leaving the UK
