Those that don't strike will happily take whatever we have earned for them though at our expense. Even if I was the only one in our office planning to strike I still would, we have to look at the bigger picture. and support each other everywhere.

The fact that the shares have been hoovered up by a director's wife seems decidedly dodgy. If it was above board and they weren't worried about insider dealing accusations then surely he would have bought them in his name.

Even if for some fanciful reason she suddenly decided she wanted to spunk 100K on shares you would only invest that amount if you'd been tipped the wink. What makes it even more suspicious is that only 24 hours ago the company was basically lambasted as a lost cause. What this basically confirms is that the board at Royal Mail is bent and corrupt and is constantly manipulating us and the business to drop and raise the share price. Rico Back was doing the same in the couple of months before he left, he was constantly feeding the media bad news and then every time the share price fell he would hoover up vast amounts of shares. There are strict rules over insider trading but unfortunately there are so many corrupt people involved in the running and regulation of this country and it's businesses that bugger all will ever be looked at or done.
