But SMS, who is doing your delivery on Wednesday ?

You will have 3 days of letters / leaflets.
That’s Wednesdays problem.

Extract from the above link states:
Vulnerable workers with underlying health issues and pregnant workers are to be individually risk assessed to
ensure their health and wellbeing is protected.
DO NOT LET THEM TREAT YOU LIKE THIS - Speak to the union rep and insist on a Risk Assessment
from management. If they haven't done one - don't go out and for Tuesday even if they have done one I'd seriously
state 'I'm not going out' - it is not worth the risk.

5.30 start, had to be back by 12, all sorted by early ips docket kings. whole office waiting for a hour for next lorry. bought some back as didn't go out on saturday. Com said as long as tracked and specials are done its alright to bring letters back. same tomorrow, will be fun as the mail is later arriving.
Don't know about other MCs but locally just about all DOs get all their SDs on the final dispatch

We started at the normal time. Totally pointless starting any earlier than 0600 on a Monday as there's not any mail to talk of. The Early IPS guys can get it sorted (literally) in about 15 mins. If you haven't got Households to prep you're basically twiddling you thumbs. :cuppa

All our mail comes in on Sunday for Monday including special delivery.
Tuesday to Saturday the SDs come in at 5am.

So if we’re not meant to be out when it reaches 35 degrees +, how do we know what the temperature is? My iPhone does most things but doesn’t tell me the temperature in real time.

Our final dispatch is at 06:15, once the lorries are loaded they head out. Most of the DOs get all their SDs on that dispatch and the rest get the residue of their SDs on it. 05:00 is probably around the time that we get out final arrivals at

It can work on Mondays as we have no css late box. But the rest of the week we do, so how will this work? Will we leave the late box until the next day or will the mail centres bring them earlier?

Both of us will take out what we can, working to time. We’ll catch up over a few days.

By "late box" do you mean the wave 2 mail? The wave 2 won't be sent out any earlier as the mail arrival patterns for Sunday are different from Monday-Friday

Bugger me so you're telling me there IS something an idiot-phone CAN'T do? Well there's hope for us yet. :pray

Bit late now but you could always buy a small thermometer (I've got one fitted to a Zip Pull £8.99 Go Outdoors ... it's got a compass incase you get lost)! :thumbup

Aim off and buy one now, ready for Winter because RM are asking you to Deliver in too COLD a temperature! :cuppa
