Wally weeks are very much back in.
With new revisions staff/managers have to decide what shift patterns work for the office.
Plenty of offices in my postcode area now work 4 days weeks,Wally weeks etc.

90% of my office is 5 in 1. They seem to work well and the office clears everyday. Sickness is also down to.

My gut feeling is that the axing of most of Skynet will happen via executive action and RM will cancel the relevant contracts with the relevant plane operators making it a permanent change which can never be reversed

How to systematically ruin a decent job....
Such a shame.... Will any long time posties really be able to adapt and happily commit to six + hour deliveries and Sunday working with little to no overtime.
They are going to have a real problem with keeping and finding postman if they get these changes implemented.
New starters are already in and out of the job like a revolving door. Posties do historically resist change as most humans do... but this level of change is lunacy... business survives on O/T for a start... no one is going to do half a walk and finish in time for Match Of The Day on a Saturday, or any day for that matter... All the perks of the job eroded in one hit... depressing

It currently suits me, if it stays somewhere near this then I can stay, if it changes through exective action im lucky to be loads of warehouses that have 6-2 shifts so its easy for me to keep the conditions ive currently got with a different employer.

What i want to know is how they intend on organising these new work patterns with so many people being on different hours and shifts.
