He's offered us 2%, but happily taken 3.6% and £140,000 for himself.

How much is this guy trying to annoy his employees? are we being trolled?
He’s a narcissist and gets his kicks from belittling anyone worse off than him. Whenever he uses the word “team” in his communications i change it to “plebs” in my head and everything makes a bit more sense from there. He hates us and holds us in complete disdain. This week was an example of that, the day after imposing the shocking 2% payrise on us he was all over workplace eating ice creams with all his senior team at the super hub full of smiles.
He’s not finished yet either, he’s coming for all our terms and conditions in the next few weeks or months via executive action.

This is either next level arrogance or symptoms of a PR team in complete meltdown.

I'm not sure which.

He could easily have delayed this, he could have made a grand gesture for the "Team" and made PR gold by refusing it (it's not like they couldn't have paid him it quietly at a later date) but instead they rub our noses in it right before a strike ballot?

It's a strange thing to do at this particular time.

Effectively a 25%+ rise, while we get 2% through executive action. :hmmmm

It's not like he's going to be affected by the cost of living crisis even if he had a 0% pay rise and no bonus.

I might have to take up sex work on the side to make ends meet.

Just avoid the P&O guys obviously.
You don't want strike breakers in that line of work.

Well if you still hold shares you might have received the RM AGM voting card through the post today.

Perhaps everyone might consider whether to vote for or against the directors remuneration report and
whether to vote for or against his re-election.

Although the fat cats hold millions of shares more than us posties at least it might make you feel better.

Best thing i ever did. I jerk off guys in the train station shitter.
I'm my own boss, work the hours I want, wash my hands in the toilet afterwards. Job done. I have got forearms like Popeye's now but that's just an occupational hazard.
At least I feel cleaner and sleep more soundly than I did working under the shower of c***s that are RM management.

Front and back I understand but on the side?

The 142k bonus equates to £2730.00 per WEEK extra for him, but don't forget that MAY be subject to tax and NI, so it's not as grand as it sounds :chuckle :chuckle
