Hi all,
Hoping you can help me out. Been on holiday and camera went off and a failed parcel from ParcelForce. Anyway online it said failed delivery and that a card was through the post.
Got how yesterday, low and behold no card, back online and it says “Normanton MSPO” under location and then “ Addressee advised to collect from Post Office”
My question is, where the hell do I collect it from and without a card? We have a normal high street post office in Normanton but also in Normanton we have a huge place my normal parcels from RM go for? Not sure if you can help with ParcelForce though?
Just want to head and get it tomorrow but hard with no card and not knowing where from?
Thanks in advance,
Simon

Re: What does MSPO mean?
It is highly unlikely a Parcelforce driver would have left the parcel at a Royal Mail depot.
It is almost certainly at the Post Office.
Is it possibly HS for High Street?

Re: What does MSPO mean?
MSPO = Main Sub Post Office.
Parcelforce depots are few and far between (I live about 50 miles from my nearest one) so the arrangement used to be that they took undelivered parcels to the nearest Post Office to collect there, if the PO has suitable storage space. I assume this arrangement is still in force.
Check with the PO helpline, but I believe you need suitable identification for the addressee to collect (e.g. passport, driving licence) but not the card.

Re: What does MSPO mean?
Thanks for that, have all my ID based at this house so we’re good that side of things. Just didn’t know if I needed to go to my high street shop or the bigger place near me.
I will try call them tomorrow but presume that will be a hassle!
