Could my parcels be lost?

Post by Joecroft98 »

I ordered two things recently one from depop and one from ebay. Both sellers said they sent on Tuesday first class (not tracked :( ) and they both still haven't arrived.

Could they both be lost in the system? I've had other mail arrive since then so i don't know if anybody that works for RM could tell me if there's been regular backlogs recently or if I've just been very unlucky?

Hello, I have recently ordered sth too, have asked and paid for special delivery but unfortunately, the lady has sent it only signed for which is not fully tracked. It's been 18 days now and I haven't received it. Is it so common for signed for parcels to get lost?

PS. Item is coming from UK

No its not common, but with literally millions going through the system every day, some do get lost, but the reasons why are many and varied.

If it is 18 days you can make a claim with Royal Mail, and I would suggest making a claim for a refund or replacement with the sender.

First-class should have arrived, but some offices are struggling with delays. If 2 parcels from different organisations are not yet delivered it would indicate local delays rather than national ones.
