Hello,
I'm from Germany and was trying to send a little parcel to a family member in England.
I brought it to my post office in the beginning of April and it was now returned back to me again.
It has a sticker ("we were unable to deliver this item because") from Royal Mail on it but there's no box checked at all why it couldn't be delivered. Not even a date is written on that sticker.
This isn't the first time I've had problems with Royal Mail as last year I have also tried to send a parcel to the UK and that package was also sent back to me, but back then a reason was given, I think it was "no such address".
I thought maybe you guys here can help me here first as I am pretty unfamiliar with what to do now. I don't think I have a tracking number so I don't know if Royal Mail can even help me in this situation.
greetings

Re: Item returned to sender, no reason given
if there is no tracking number and no indication of why it was returned I don't think anyone here can help.
Sometimes a reason is written on the address label, but if not it would be pure guesswork.
To combat this happening again I would always suggest sending it by a tracked service, and perhaps using google maps to confirm any addresses.

What was the contents? It might be that it was refused entry by UK customs

Unlikely they don't use our return to sender labels.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑23 May 2022, 09:04What was the contents? It might be that it was refused entry by UK customs

It was a photo album, which I noted on the sending label for customs. Also the package came back opened.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑23 May 2022, 09:04What was the contents? It might be that it was refused entry by UK customs
