I can see on the tracking that the parcel went to the mail centre early this morning, then out to the delivery centre, then the delivery centre sent it back to the mail centre. I did at least have a return to sender address on there as it was using a proper royal mail guaranteed delivery bag/envelope. Will the next step be to send it back to the mail centre in my city and then to me? (hopefully on Monday?)

Wrong postcode on my guaranteed delivery parcel how quick will it come back?
Hello everyone, as my username says I messed this one up big time. I was sending some time sensitive documents to my conveyancer by guaranteed 1pm delivery, and I put the wrong postcode on the package. It should've been LS11 and I put LS15
. Any idea how long it will take for them to get back to me?

Keep an eye on the tracking as LS11 and LS15 are both within the Leeds MC area it's possible they will send it to the correct postcode. If you put the district of Leeds in the address that will increase the chances of it being sent on to the correct office.imessedup wrote: ↑25 Mar 2022, 19:14Hello everyone, as my username says I messed this one up big time. I would expect it, if it is returned to sender, by the middle of next week at the very latest.

Thank you so much! I can see today it's gone to Holbeck DO which is only 8min walk from the address it should've gone to and they have put on the tracking:
"We've received a request not to deliver mail to the property your item is addressed to today. We'll attempt delivery as per the instructions we've received, which is usually on the next working day."
Which makes sense. This'll really save me if they can get it where it's supposed to go.

That's a good sign, a lot of businesses have what we call Saturday Retentions because no one is in the office on Saturday. The next scan you should see should be confirmation its going out on delivery on Monday.
