Hello,
I’m trying to track a parcel from Japan.
On the Global Package Tracking page (parcelsapp.com), it shows that RM has scanned the item, showing the latest message on 1 March 2022 “Item Received. This item has been received at LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom. More information will be available as it travels through our UK network”.
Based on various threads, I am under the assumption that this means the parcel has passed UK border control/customs and is now in the hands of RM, and I should be able to expect the parcel to be sent to my local RM post office soon - is my assumption correct?
However I also read some threads which seemed to indicate that when it says “Item received at Langley”, it means that it’s still going through customs, which slightly confused me. This would be worrying since a lot of people have said once it says “Item received at Langley”, there could be customs delays and people have waited sometimes weeks/months to receive their parcel. Is this just for parcels leaving the UK?
Could someone please clarify this? To confirm, my parcel is from Japan and is to be delivered to a UK home address.

Probably, it is a bit hard to say without seeing the full tracking.ariko.jc wrote: ↑04 Mar 2022, 07:49On the Global Package Tracking page (parcelsapp.com), it shows that RM has scanned the item, showing the latest message on 1 March 2022 “Item Received. Absolutely nothing to do with the Post Office though.
