This information applies to both Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide

Items to Ukraine

Due to the rapidly changing situation in Ukraine we have been advised by the Ukrainian postal service (Ukrposhta) that Ukrainian airspace is currently closed. We are working with the Ukrainian postal service and other postal partners to establish road transit routes into the country. We are still accepting items for Ukraine but holding them in the UK until these alternative routes are operational. Please advise customers deliveries to all parts of Ukraine are subject to unpredictable delays. We will provide further updates as soon as we receive them.

Items to Moldova

Due to the situation in neighbouring Ukraine, we have been advised that Moldovan airspace is currently closed. We usually fly traffic into Moldova and are now working with our postal and transportation partners to put in place alternative road transit routes into Moldova. We are still accepting items for Moldova but we're holding them in the UK until these alternative routes are operational. Please advise customers there may be delays to the delivery of your item.

Items to Russia

We use both air and road transit for items traveling to Russia. Whilst Russian airspace has been closed to UK airlines as of today (Friday) , we are continuing to accept, process and transport items destined for Russia by road.

Our website is being updated to reflect the changes as the occur. Please continue to sign post your customers before they attempt to send items.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

International sanctions

Our customers send mail around the world every day. However, a number of countries and international organisations, including the United Kingdom and the European Union, impose certain restrictions, also known as sanctions, on what you can send to certain individuals, organisations or countries.

Sanctions can take many forms but are generally aimed at preventing certain goods, services, finance and knowledge being supplied to particular recipients.

It is your responsibility to check whether the item you wish to post breaks any sanctions rules. If you break the sanctions rules, we can deal with your postal items in a number of ways including disposing of them. You may also face investigation by the relevant authorities.

Where can I find out more information?

Please see this link for more details - WE on here can not give you anymore details.

Thanks
