Hi. I'm a motorcycle mechanic/constructor in Ireland and rely on parts from the UK, all over Europe, the USA and China now and again. I've now ordered the same thing twice from two different sellers from China on eBay UK because the first had the same tracking as this and never arrived. Called RM Customer Service, who advised they might be a scam (e.g. send an envelope to get tracking and not the actual item). However, the problem appears to be what happens with the tracking once it gets to the UK as a transit point (Irish delivery address) then after flagged to the ILC centre? ('Royal Mail International Logistic Centre'). Here's the link:
https://www.orangeconnex.com/tracking?l ... 1010001G0N
2022/02/03 10:52
Returned to Destination Facility GB
2022/02/03 08:09
Delivered-Your item was delivered on 2022-02-03 08:09:32. (*no country code)
2022/01/16 19:00
We've got it-This item has been received at ILC. More information will be available as it travels through our UK network. IE
2022/01/11 23:32
In Transit-Item Received GB
2022/01/11 12:30
Received-Royal Mail Received GB...
There's a couple of problems with this track which I don't understand. The first is the item was never 'delivered' - "Delivered-Your item was delivered on 2022-02-03 08:09:32" (to me anyway in Ireland). Then less than three hours later, it says 'Returned to Destination Facility' in UK. The second problem is, I don't think there is a 'ILC' in Ireland (IE) "..it travels through our UK network. IE". This is part of Royal Mail isn't it? In Slough? Per business address:
https://slough-eng.listcompanies.co.uk/ ... -ilc.html/
"Address:
10 Hurricane Way, Slough, England SL3 8AG"
This tracking has now been exactly the same twice for me for two different parcels at two different times from two different sellers. After 'Returned to Destination Facility GB' that's the last I see of the tracking and neither parcel arrived.
So the question is, does anyone know what's possibly really going on here? Scam? Is the tracking and 'orangeconnex.com' a scam? Seems doubtful. Many thanks if you can. Very appreciated :)

If it is a genuine parcel passing through Royal Mail’s network then you should be able to see tracking on Royal Mail’s website. Have you tried that and, if so, what is the tracking output there?

Re: Parcels Missing after ILC centre - strange tracking
Snaggletooth, yep, the customer service at RM said the same, in that it would have to have a RM recognised reference number in order to be scanned as it travels through. However, the 'Orangeconnex' tracking number I have and can be seen online, is not recognised by RM. That being said, RM customer service said it probably has two different reference numbers (or barcodes?) of which I only have one. Unless the tracking is made up and I presume not as it's a major shipper from China. It does have the UK side of things there on the tracking per the link and above, only both parcels have disappeared after returned to destination facility from ILC.

There is one site that shows who scanned it and at what time.
https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/ES10 ... 1010001G0N
according to that tracking, it never entered Royal Mails system.
As for orange connex - there is some tracking here https://www.trackingmore.com/orangeconn ... 1010001G0N but it also has contact options.

TrueBlueTerrier, but according to the tracking it did, didn't it? ..
"11 Jan 2022 12:30
Received-Royal Mail Received United Kingdom"
from the link you gave, and it's all the same as the Orangeconnex link I have in the post, but mentions 'SpeedPAK'. The ILS in Slough is part of or at least being gov' customs works in with the Royal Mail group where it and the other parcel prior disappeared/or RTS from after. It also doesn't explain what it meant by 'delivered' then less than three hours later 'returned to destination facility GB'. This apparently never touched Ireland. The ILS is in the UK and should have gone through the Irish customs International Parcel Centre (IPC) in Ireland to make that decision.
