offices are three times more likely to have cleared before Christmas if they had a revision than if you did not - our poorest clearance performance is in offices that did not have a revision
those offices that had a revision were 3 times more likely to clear before Christmas than those that had not…

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Simon, what is the point? What is the point of YOU? And what is the point of your ramblings on Workplace if you don't answer the questions you are asked on there?
Don't be shy, say it as you see it!
You can not open a dialogue with the 'Team' bribe the 'Team' to go on it and act like a dick.

team - tell the truth - be respectful - be open to other points of view - if you are doing these three things, post post post post…
See yous Monday.

Lies to the markets, lies to the public, lies to the workforce. Shame the CWU can't see it.
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

I don’t think he’s mentioned it today actually (although he most probably has).
Worst thing about Simon currently, alongside the lies, is he comes across as incompetent. It seems his level of expertise is looking at some Excel spreadsheet and parroting back the numbers.

Managers Update
First and Second Class Stamp Prices
04 March 2022
From 4 April 2022, the price of a 1st Class stamp will increase by 10p to 95p and the price of a
2nd Class stamp will increase by 2p to 68p.
Royal Mail has considered these pricing changes very carefully in light of the long term structural decline in letter usage and rising inflation.
Letter volumes have declined by more than 60 percent since their peak in 2004/5, and around 20 percent since the start of the pandemic.
Overall, these changes are broadly in line with inflation and are necessary to ensure the one-price-goes-anywhere Universal Service remains sustainable. The Universal Service Obligation (USO) requires Royal Mail to deliver letters to 31 million home and business addresses across
the UK six days a week at the same price.
Royal Mail's stamp prices remain among the best value in Europe compared to other postal operators. Royal Mail research shows that the European average price for 1st Class letters (0-100g) is £1.36.
As customer needs change and we see a greater shift from letters to parcels, it is vital that the Universal Service adapts to stay relevant and sustainable.
