What is the qr code thing on the actual labels that never seem to be scanned?
I know the barcode information be right is tracking number as it says but what is the use of the other qr code looking thing on the left?

I’m curious as when I scan it with a qr scanner it shows my address which I normally untick show address on label

This is not an official answer:
I use it as a backup, the 13 Figure Barcode, is just that a tag so that they can get scanned and inform the customer/receiver where and when it was last scanned. It is also slightly faster to scan when you have literally thousands to scan each night.
But the 2d has far more information in it, and if the address on the parcels is damaged or obscured you can, if the PO entered the right details, sometimes, scan it with a 2d scanner and it will give the receiver address. Or if the 13 digit barcode is damaged or unreadable you can use the 2d to update the tracking.
So it's not much use when sending it, but it can be useful as the parcel goes through the system. It's a belt and braces approach.
