Hi,
I send a parcel to Germany (tracking no. RN520303463GB). Since Tuesday evening it’s on the way to Heathrow (Status:
Item Despatched to Heathrow Worldwide DC), but seems like it hasn’t arrived yet. Is such a delay normal?

Re: Is delay before HWDC normal?
Normal, no. But not concerning either. There are delays because of Covid and Brexit. Particularly with Brexit, there are new rules you have to comply with and confirmation that these are in place and okay can cause delays.
Hopefully, you completed and included the correct paperwork, and the item was not on the Banned or Restricted list for Germany.

Yes, it was only a letter in a tube package and this was also declared on thr CN22 form. However, I left the sender field empty, as didn’t think it was necessary and also the value (as it is only a letter). Is this problematic?TrueBlueTerrier wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 10:13Normal, no. It could explain the delay if customs/Royal Mail are being zealous in applying the rules. https://business.help.royalmail.com/app ... ods-abroadSw7 wrote: ↑25 Oct 2021, 17:40Yes, it was only a letter in a tube package and this was also declared on thr CN22 form. 2. Sender’s name and address
It’s essential that these appear either on the CN23 customs declaration form or, if you’re using form CN22, on the outside of the parcel.
