1st class letter without postcode

Post by Jesusaur »

Hi everyone,

I ordered a copy of my birth certificate for a job application & it was sent 1st class non-tracked letter on 14/10.

Shockingly I didn't add my postcode to the address and it still hasn't arrived. My full name, street number and name are correct though. I've also checked and there are no other streets in the UK with the same name.

How much of a delay am I likely to get in receiving the letter? I don't want to pay £38 to fast track it again for it to turn up the next day!

Thanks in advance,

Oliver

Few days if it gets pulled by a conscientious postie. You may be surprised.
If not, it will go to our returns center and opened and they would probably send it on to you. A week or two.
Please let us know if it arrives.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
