This is a Chinese based one, there has been a recent increase in complaints about items coming from there. It's making me wonder if something bigger is going on.

In case anyone was wondering, I still haven't received my item. I extended buyer protection on AliExpress which now runs out in 5 days so I have opened a dispute for non delivery of item. I'll let you know how it goes. If that fails I imagine I'll do a chargeback as the item was $141. The whole thing just somehow feels dodgy.

They refunded me straight away this morning so actually can't complain with the AliExpress service. Shame the item didn't get delivered but at least no money lost.
