Seems to have been a lot of confusion between nrc an newtonabbey do but should definitley be updated sometime today.ank wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 11:55Thank you very much.aiden01 wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 11:28Had a quick check just now item is being forwarded to london should arrive tomorrow.ank wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 09:48Hi, Thanks for the help.Rael, the IAK wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 08:33As I tracked the item in my app, I got an update this morning, so was going to advise you of the situation, but you've seen it already. Looks like all, or the bulk of the parcel, is coming back to you, as it shows as out for delivery today from Newtownabbey DO.
Newtownabbey(Belfast) is the Sender's address and is suppose to be delivered in London. I don't understand why they send it back to sender after disposing the restricted/prohibited items.
There is more confusion to this ,I received a message at 9:40 am today that its again being re-routed. I don't know what exactly is going on, are they going to send it back to sender or re-route back to receiver's address or re-route to National Return Centre ?
There is no clear update.
Thanks

Re: No update
Let's hope they actually took the offending item out of the package, or it will just go round the circle again
I find it very strange that customer services were unable to tell the customer why it had been delayed. You'd have thought that the internal system would show that it had been pulled due to an item that couldn't fly.
Aiden, out of interest, how did you know that it had gone back to the MC before the tracking info showed that please?

Re: No update
Just checked the status and item is again in transit to Newtonabbey. Now this is really frustrating, called customer care at least 10 times but they never help. I don’t understand what to do now? How long they will play with parcel and why can’t customer care can do something about his.aiden01 wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 16:24Seems to have been a lot of confusion between nrc an newtonabbey do but should definitley be updated sometime today.ank wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 11:55Thank you very much.aiden01 wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 11:28Had a quick check just now item is being forwarded to london should arrive tomorrow.ank wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 09:48Hi, Thanks for the help.Rael, the IAK wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 08:33As I tracked the item in my app, I got an update this morning, so was going to advise you of the situation, but you've seen it already. Re: No update
They sent it back to Newtonabbey. I never thought of any service to be that bad and where customer service is just like Tracking assistant. feeling helpless.Rael, the IAK wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 21:46Let's hope they actually took the offending item out of the package, or it will just go round the circle again

Re: No update
Because i work in the mc made a few inquiries an it was put into sd locker to be sent to london yday morning.honestly dont know what has went wrong now but will do my best to find out. there seems to be confusion around wether to rts it or forward it on as when it came back from nrc there was two diff barcodes on package. but thought this had been sorted out yesterday.Rael, the IAK wrote: ↑17 Aug 2021, 21:46Let's hope they actually took the offending item out of the package, or it will just go round the circle again

Re: No update
Who'd have thought that could happen!!
I see that it's now been delivered back to the sender. So they can now try again. What a mess and so little info being provided. Didn't notice the line in the tracking history regarding restricted contents before though.
Thanks Aiden, was guessing that you must have been close to the action

Re: No update
Is this a good idea to get this package back from Royal Mail again? As the sender has informed me that RM has destroyed the restricted items.aiden01 wrote: ↑18 Aug 2021, 13:03Newtonabbey DO had sent parcel to sd locker yday to be forwarded to london only for nrc to intervene late yday afternoon an say it has to be returned to sender. no idea why though.Rael, the IAK wrote: ↑18 Aug 2021, 09:19Who'd have thought that could happen!!
