Who Knows how to solve this issue

Post by ddstyles »

Hi, I am a little at a loss to know how to solve this issue - perhaps someone can give me a route.

In May last year, we moved into new commercial premises. Royal Mail dropped us a line and told us what address to use. The problem is that the postcode provided shows on some mapping systems in a different location.

Postcode provided PE9 4FA

In some cases, this is shown as a farm in Tallington rather than Essendine...

https://www.getthedata.com/postcode/PE9-4FA

https://www.192.com/places/pe/pe9-4/pe9-4fa/

https://www.proviser.com/uk/towns/stamf ... es/pe9-4fa

https://www.geopunk.co.uk/postcode/PE9-4FA

worse still many of the route planners and sat nav use the wrong place too...

https://www.theaa.com/route-planner/rou ... 04FA,%20UK

and the RAC, and Garmin et al

Couriers have issues even if they know where we are as their route planners schedule them to deliver to the wrong location.

What can I do?

Think you may be able to contact Royal Mail Postcode Address File team through their website
They ‘should’ be able to remedy your GPS data information and hopefully change it on their database

Good luck
