What happens after "Item Received by Royal Mail LANGLEY HWDC"

Post by pdloverseas »

An item was posted from the UK to Afghanistan on 8th June. 10th June it arrived at Langley HWDC, with a notice "your item is being prepared for despatch overseas"

On enquiring with Royal Mail, they say that there might not be any further updates. I asked whether there is usually a "you item has been despatched overseas" notice - and they said usually, but it might have got missed.

Does it usually missed? Do people have experience of the last tracking item being "prepared for despatch overseas" and nothing else?
