Are Royal Mail 24 and 1st Class Parcel barcodes for delivery confirmation the same?

No.

Royal Mail 24 and 48 are tracked services so they have a LL 0000 0000 0GB format.
1st class parcels use a 2d barcode of which there are 3 different formats and 3 different number outputs which can be used for tracking.

However, as far as I know, the actual confirmation of delivery would be the same, or similar.

No i meant is 1st Class Parcels and RM 24 business with only delivery confirmation the same 2d barcode? As in will it recognise it as the same service?

He kinda replied, they are 2 different services with 2 different scanning options and 2 different barcodes.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
