Special Delivery to Harlow Probate office

Post by rickb »

Hello,

I have a special delivery receipt signed XP1 for the delivery at Harlow Probate.

Now these documents have still not been loaded onto the probate system and before chasing the probate office I just want to check
things from the RM point of view.

I have heard that the probate office is so swamped that sometimes the PO Box cannot take anymore deliveries hence the mail is rediected elsewhere...and a lot of it is lost as a result (may I add due to the probate office incompetence rather than RM).
My question is, if I have a delivery signed XP1 does it mean my parcel has been delivered at the po box or is there a possibility RM may have had to deliver this elsewhere anyway?

thank you

Very unlikely as we do not split mail from here to there ect. And there is no such thing as a part redirection
You have answered your own question, they are very busy, the world is very busy at the moment.

It has been deliverd to the address on the envelope.
XP1 is because it has been siged for by the postie due to Coronavirus measures and social distancing
.

thank you

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
