Hi there,
I am wondering if you get any tracking information at all when you post using only International Signed For?
Now is covid so im sure other countries do not SIGN for there post? Correct me if i am wrong?
Do you also get ANY sort of delivery confirmation using this service and is there any 2d barcode or tracking number on the parcel?
Can you get any tracking information when using this service on another countries postal company website?

There is a tracking number on the parcel. You get some tracking at the UK end. The rest varies by destination country: check the country pages on Royal Mail's website.

Yes, any country within the Universal Postal Union has reciprocal agreements with each other where you can track items between different postal organisations, on each others systems.00
Of course, that means you have to rely on the actual operators themselves to scan items as it progresses through.

Re: International Signed For Information?
So how on earth would you be able to find out if the parcel was delivered if it was only Business Signed For International and not tracked & Signed?
Would i be able to look up the barcode number on the partners website for example Fiji?

Re: International Signed For Information?
By the postie in Fiji scanning it, that's the only way especially for International signed as they may not be tracked outside the UK.
You can try Fiji Post tracking if you prefer https://www.postfiji.com.fj/PostFiji/Index.html
But I think this site is better https://parcelsapp.com/en

Re: International Signed For Information?
Thank you, since your replies, i have decided to use Royal Mail for Business International Signed For due to the delivery confirmation to lesser developed countries as well as Tracked to developed countries, instead of using a courier for the latter.
I just wish RM Langley would speed up their dispatch, its been 3 and half weeks since my Italian parcel has been at "item leaving UK, your item is now leaving UK".
Trueblue, is there a barcode that i could get limited delivery confirmation by using the parcels website for Business international standard? Would it work like Signed For?
Also are the tracked/signed international Business services faster dispatch than Business international standard?
Thank you kindly.

To be fair to Langley/Heathrow - they do process them quickly once they have them (both in an out) but they are at the mercy of Customs on both sides and those bring Government and Law enforcement agencies there is not a lot RM can do to spped them up.Business15 wrote: ↑14 Feb 2021, 12:25I just wish RM Langley would speed up their dispatch, its been 3 and half weeks since my Italian parcel has been at "item leaving UK, your item is now leaving UK".
Not standard, but any tracking or signed for service that ends in GB and follows the format XX 0000 0000 0GB should be tracked at various points dependant on the service chosen. IE International signed for will be tracked in UK, but not till delivery is attempted at the destination. International Tracked should be scanned at points in between dispatch and delivery.Business15 wrote: ↑14 Feb 2021, 12:25Trueblue, is there a barcode that i could get limited delivery confirmation by using the parcels website for Business international standard? It depends - tracked is a premier service so tracked items will have a higher priority to be processed than International Business if they are delays in the system. However, in practice both tend to be processed at the same speed but in different streams.Business15 wrote: ↑14 Feb 2021, 12:25Also are the tracked/signed international Business services faster dispatch than Business international standard?
