We sent an important package to Canada House in London for a visa application. It was signed and delivered on January 21. However, as we are unable to check with the Canadian visa office if it was received, we called Royal Mail. To our surprise, we were told it was signed/delivered in Clapham (3km south of the delivery address).
We were concerned our package was received at a random address, so we sent another last week. ONCE AGAIN, it was signed/delivered in Clapham, far from the addressed destination. We opened an investigation with Royal Mail, but were told it "must have been delivered" but there is no way of knowing without confirmation from the receiver.
Since we are unable to get confirmation from the visa office (they've ignored all our emails), does anyone have any insight into why this may have happened? Did the packages both arrive safely but somehow get scanned elsewhere? Why would they leave the Victoria Delivery Office and get scanned far from the actual address?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated as the visa application may be thrown out if these packages are not received.

Just googled the post code for Canada house, then the delivery office that covers it and it comes up with London Victoria office. They probably get lots of mail and looking at the timings it makes me think that they might pick their mail up direct from the delivery office

Would this explain why it was signed for in Clapham? I just checked the tracking of the first item on RM's website, it says it was delivered from the Victoria (SW1) delivery office, which is the right one. Clapham (SW4) is a different DO. Not sure where the Clapham information is coming from?
