Hi Forum,
Hope everyone is well.

Its been stuck in Curitiba Brazil since 8th Dec 2020 :confused

Strange - checking on https://parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/RU742255938GB it looks like the Brazilian Postal System were expecting tax - they'd only do that for Brazilian addresses.

However its looks like the last entry suggest they will either forward it to Australia - or back to the sender - its not very clear.

Did try tracking at Australia Post but they can't track it. https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

I'd suggest keeping an eye on tracking and see which way it heads. Also you may be able to claim from Royal Mail if they made a mistake.

Thank you Blue.
I looked at the airlines to see why it went to Brazil in the first place.
It seems there is a shortish flight to Santiago Chile and then across the Pacific to Sydney.
Anyway thanks for your link, it says a lot more than the RM site. I will also try an online claim. Its not an any old roof tile, its from a very famous building in Aus.
Time will tell, I will let you know what happens.
Kind Regards. OGRI.

Hi again. As promised, here is the outcome to this travesty.
Its not good news, I`m sorry to say.
The small parcel with my Sydney Opera House roof tile in it. Has disappeared totally.
After 3months in Brazil, they say it was returned to the UK.
Royal Mail has it on their website that it has left the UK, towards the destination country, which was Australia. Its been like that for a month.

RM Customer services has said they have let me down and lessons will be learned, of course they will. LMAO.
In the meantime Ebay has refunded the buyer in full and awarded me a strike.
So RM refunded my postage costs of £17.50. What an absolute shower.
Difficult to describe my utter disappointment.
Regards OGRI.
