Let us not forget those magical times standing at the customers front door in the pouring freezing driving rain. Wearing your water absorbant 'stormproof' coat.
Ring the doorbell...No one answers
Ring the doorbell again...No one answers
Knock on the door...Still no one answers
Knock on the door again (louder just in case they're a bit deaf)...Still no one answers
Fumble in the driving rain to put down the package/special delivery/recorded etc.
Attempt to write out a docket using a pen not actually designed to write under water, on soggy paper, using fingers that have no feeling left in them.
But...Eventually you manage to scrawl out something.
AND...Just as you are about to try and shove the soggy docket through the finger slicing letter box......
The door opens and some bloody idiot stands there and utters those imortal words....
"I didn't hear you knocking" Then how the hell did you know to come to the door you moron!!!

'Is that all there is?'
A common question which we get asked is, 'Is that all there is?', meaning, 'Is there no more mail for me, besides what you have just posted to me?'. In most cases, the mail which we post to an address is the only mail that will be available to that address on the day that we post it.
