I've had a SD package sent by a seller and I've received a notification that says: Address Incomplete - Forwarded to National Returns Centre.
However, on checking with the seller, the address was in fact correct and as per the address I gave them and always use.
Would there be any reason for this other than a mistake in the sorting office? This is at Finsbury Park DO.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Yes - the address label could have fallen off the packet. Or address has become obscured for some reason. Or the wrapping for the packet has been damaged in some way. The possible reasons are to all practicality too numerous to mention.

All good points! Do you know how long it takes for a parcel to get back to the sender in a situation like this?TrueBlueTerrier wrote: ↑03 Dec 2020, 13:23Yes - the address label could have fallen off the packet. No. Again there are too many variables to say with any certainty but SDs are treated as high priority so it should be relatively quick.
Hopefully, the return address is inside the parcel, or even the receivers address - that will speed up the process. Also if the sender has reported it and given RM a description of the contents that will help a bit as well.
