Hi all
My Gran sent mail to me 2 weeks ago, but didn't write the correct 2nd part of the postcode. The full address, and first part of the postcode (BS6) is correct, so how long does a delay like that usually take?
- Will it still be delivered?
- Is there any way I can get in contact with the local sorting office to see if they have it?

Bristol BS6 incomplete postcode mail delivery delay times
During normal times there will be a delay especially if the delivery office is split over a number of postcodes.
However during the current epidemic and lock down with posties self isolating and even in some cases coming down with it, its impossible to say how long it will be delayed.
It might be worth visiting the office but I wouldn't hold out hope they'll be able to help with one item but you never know.
